Today (Wednesday, 16 March, 2011) it was confirmed by Rugby
World Cup 2011 Tournament partners that games planned for
Christchurch would be relocated. This includes all pool fixtures
and two quarter finals matches which will be held in Auckland on
the original date.

care for the many people affected by the earthquake, including

community. Many have needed the assistance that the industry

relayed about the generosity extended to visitors and others in
need over this difficult time.

attributed to Tourism New Zealand about Anna Faris and her
experiences in New Zealand may have caused (Herald On Sunday, 15
January and 22 January). The inference that Tourism New Zealand did
not take Ms Faris’s comments seriously is very much regretted and
was certainly not intended.
