Earthquake Update One

Tourism New Zealand is awaiting further reports from emergency
services and tourism operators in the area, as safety assessments
continue to be undertaken. 

Some transport routes have been affected and Christchurch
Airport is temporarily closed while safety inspections take
place.

central city has been cordoned off and is not accessible.
